"Comprehensive Dental Photography"

Everything in Level One is included in Level Two - plus much more - especially software work. This course is both camera hardware and picture software - with both JPG and RAW file capture. Image management/corrections in Adobe Photoshop (Adobe Camera Raw) or Adobe Lightroom and patient presentations in both Adobe Bridge or Microsoft PowerPoint. Color Management in dentistry is part of Level Two.(Color accuracy with pictures, monitors and prints)"The Art of Portrait Photography" is included in Level Two. This is the most comprehensive photography course.

  2. Master exposure control in both clinical and portrait photography
  3. Learn Adobe Photoshop for dental professionals
  4. Learn Microsoft PowerPoint as used by dental professionals
  5. Master color accuracy in dentistry and how to make certain all your images are color perfect
  6. Custom White Balance for Jpg and Custom White Balance for Raw
  7. Learn Adobe Camera Raw (part of Photoshop)- the most important software to dental professionals
  8. Adobe Lightroom can be used instead of Adobe Camera Raw and Adobe Bridge. Camera Raw and Lightroom use the same technology from Adobe. The image technique is identical.
  9. Apple Aperture can also be used by Mac users. Aperture is very, very similar to Lightroom.
  10. Master quick Templates in Adobe Bridge - How to print or email patients series during appointments
  11. Calibrate and profile your monitor, either laptop or desktop - for viewing color accurate images
  12. Learn to print using icc profiles - the key to printing color accuracy. Simple and accurate

Dental professionals wanting to master Adobe Photoshop and Microsoft PowerPoint . Level 2 is a necessary prerequisite for Level 3. This course is also for dental speakers creating PowerPoint presentations for a dental audience. This course is less about the photography, mastered in Level Two, and more about the image workflow after capture on the computer. This includes Photoshop layers, TIF files, creating logos, using layer styles, filters and other graphic art tools. Cosmetic Imaging, using layers in Photoshop, is another highlight in Level 3.

LEVEL FOUR (2 Day Course) DIGITAL UPDATE for Clients that have attended Level Two & Level Three

Level Four is a great refresher course for all previous clients. You will get a complete review of your prior course - plus everything that has evolved in digital photography. You will also explore the digital video feature in the new digital cameras. This digital video is way cool! Patient interview videos, laboratory communication videos, Facebook and YouTube videos. Limitless possibilities with Video.

**Only some of the newer digital cameras have digital video capabilities.

Also the Dentist - Lab Technician Communication Course. Color Management in dentistry for The lab technician and dentist TEAM. This course is about mastering digital color from the capture of RAW files through accurate monitor calibration and profiling and printing with ICC profiles. Fully understand the full 'White Balanced Workflow' for perfect color in dental applications. Communication between the dentist and laboratory technician, either print or email, is in actual color (6500K) that lab technicians use when creating the restorations.

In this course, both the dentists and lab technicians will learn to create a Custom Camera Profile. This profile is created from a RAW file from your camera - and will render perfect clor for all shots from THAT camera. **This is the highest color fidelity possible with photography in 2012.
